How large do the outrigger pads need to be?
The size of the outrigger pads depends entirely on the vehicle's weight and the ground conditions. Heavy lifts need a much larger surface area than the outrigger foot itself, often from 40 x 40 cm up to 100 x 100 cm depending on the ground's load-bearing capacity. On very soft ground, a larger surface area alone is not always enough, and you may also need a thicker pad.
Which excavator attachment is suitable for my machine?

Identify the type of attachment (often S-standard) fitted to your excavator. The safest way to do this is by measuring the stick width, shaft diameter and centre-to-centre (C/C) dimensions. The attachment is selected according to the machine’s weight. Mini excavators (< 2 tonnes): S30 or S40. Compact excavators (2–7 tonnes): S40 or S45. Small/Medium (7–12 tonnes): S45, S50 or S60. Medium/Large (12–20+ tonnes): S60, S70 or S80.<

What is a rotator hook used for?
A rotator hook is a lifting attachment fitted to a rotator to increase the range of applications and precision during lifting. Ideal for Big Bag handling, precision lifting and general crane work. Our rotator hooks are fitted with hooks from Gunnebo.
Which hose reel is suitable for hydraulic hoses on a truck-mounted crane?

Hydraulic hoses on a truck-mounted crane require robust, often spring-retracted hose reels that can withstand high pressure and are designed for harsh conditions. The choice of hose reel depends on whether you need single or twin hydraulics (for tools) and the space available on the crane. Our hose reels from Galli are of extremely high quality and are available in several sizes.

Which accessories are compatible with the rotator and grapple?

If you are fitting your grapple with a rotator to a cargo crane or a forestry crane, you will need a suitable link. For fitting to an excavator, we can supply a suitable attachment bracket. Popular accessories for grapples usually include a check valve or an accumulator.
